Vermiculture is the cultrure of earthworms (in our case, Eisenia Fetida or Red Wrigglers). The goal is to continually increase the number of worms in order to obtain a sustainable harvest. These worms are then used to expand on a vermicasting operation (large or small scale).
Vermicompost is the the process by which worms are used to convert organic materials (usually wastes) into a humus like material known as vermicompost.
Vermicast is the actual cast or excrement produced by the worm once the organic material has passed through its digestive system. This is what we refer to as organic vermicast fertilizer.
